February 2006

New Para Equestrian Website Launched

Welcome to my new website! Back in January 2004 I launched my first website which aimed to inform people about dressage for disabled riders - www.disabled-dressage.co.uk.

However, we decided it was time to update the site, both techinically and in name, as the term 'Disabled Dressage' has now been superceded by the term Para Dressage or Para Equestrian. I hope this site will be useful for existing Para Equestrian riders and to people wanting to get started.

As before the site will have news about me, my horses and my sponsors.

The new site will also be a resource where you can find out about specialist products for disabled riders - or for any dressage riders. Click here to see our dressage equipment and products page.

Natalie and George

George

Natalie Noble who now owns my old pony, Jon Boy George is having great fun and success with him.

They took part in the trials for the Regional Byrds International Team so might have a chance of competing in Ireland.

Competition in Canada added to International Calendar

I competed in Toronto in 2004 at the Canadian Para Dressage Championships and have kept in touch with Jen and Vi McKenzie who we met there. They told us that they were hoping to run another Canadian competition, this time in Vancouver near where they live in British Columbia.

The competition is on 1-3 September and I would love to go and compete there and see our friends again. The Canadians are quite a force to be reckoned with as they have two very strong riders - Karen Brain (Grade IV) and Lauren Barwick (Grade II) and asquad of other talented riders. Visit the Canadian Para Equestrian website.
